15TH Annual South Florida Boat Show Set for June 13-16

Best Deals of the Year on New Power Boats, Personal Watercraft, Fuel-Efficient Engines and More

 

The South Florida Boat Show cruises into the Miami Beach Convention Center June 13 to 16 with an amazing selection of new power boats to suit every style and budget. The largest summer boat show in the southeastern U.S. marks its 15th successful year, offering the best deals of the year on new 2008 power boats, just before the debut of next year’s higher priced models.

 

            More than 20,000 visitors will shop for their “dream boat” from among hundreds of beautiful, new power boats up to 40 feet, priced from less than $5,000 to more than $250,000. High-performance models, offshore fisherman, center console, cuddy cabins, walkarounds, inflatables, and more will be on display from manufacturers such as Concept, Doral, Mako, Mariah, Proline, Regal, Sea Ray, SeaHunter, Wellcraft, and many others.

 

            The 250,000-square-foot marine extravaganza also will feature the latest in personal watercraft, fuel-saving engines and nautical accessories, including fishing tackle, dive gear and navigational electronics. On Saturday and Sunday afternoon, some of Florida’s top charter fishing captains will share their tips and techniques for getting the best catch from local waters.

 

The South Florida Boat Show takes place at the Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Dr., in Miami Beach. Show hours are Friday, 4-9 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Monday, 4 - 9 p.m. Admission is $10 adults, $5 children.
