Larry is a dynamic individual who brought his seasoned business acumen, including stints as Chief Financial Officer at several large companies, along with his passion for boating to the business. Barbara Clayman brought her passion for boats and over twenty years of experience as a Yacht Broker to the table. The combination of their talents created a potent force that has propelled year-over-year growth in the company to the point that it is now one of the most successful independent brokers of boats in its target market.
World Class Yacht Sales saw early on the importance of the internet and were one of the earliest adopters of that technology. As the web adapted, so has the company. The results can be seen in the demographics of recent sales. Over 30% of the company's sales year-to-date were to foreign buyers including sales to Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Israel, Romania, Russia, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Greece, Croatia and Panama just to name a few. In 2007, the brokerage welcomed Dave and Donna White to run managerial and administrative operations to allow Larry and Barbara to expand their efforts in the field. Dave brings an MBA in marketing and over twenty-four years of sales and marketing experience to the company. Donna is a retired physician with twenty years of business experience.
